We are qualified to use Westox products for all rising damp jobs! There are many different ways to tackle a rising damp issue, this injection system is adaptable to all home types.
The Westox system of damp proof injection is the most widely used method, including a damp proof course in an established property. This system can be used to correct a previous attempt or complete a new course.
The Westox injection system provides immediate and visual confirmation unlike other systems and curing solutions. The use of the low pressure forces the water from the pores and replaces it with the injection fluid. This fluid is a lower density than water and of low odour not impacting the home or residents. The fluid alters the chemical nature of the materials whilst still allowing them to breathe.
Why use Westox:
Having dampness within the home environment can cause many issues. Dampness can enhance the level of humidity within the home, and result in condensation challenges. Dampness can cause wood destroying fungi, mould, plaster rot and unwanted smells.
Left untreated, rising damp can result in damage to your walls, paint, carpets and floorboards.
We can assess the area using a moisture meter and through general observation.
If you notice bubbling walls, rot, mould, wet patches, or decay to the flooring it could be rising damp!
